Our Goals
Objective 1
To collaborate with individuals, businesses, emergency management programs and non-profit organizations that serve individuals who are blind, deaf, and deafblind to develop a resilient program in all stages of the emergency management cycle.
Objective 2
To offer educational webinars and workshops on emergency preparedness, general knowledge of blindness/deafblindness and guide dog/service dog experience and etiquette, and other customer-service based programs (such as: dentistry/nursing/social work/hospitality & tourism industry college/university programs).
Objective 3
To aid businesses and not-for-profit organizations in understanding and ensuring that their web sites and documents are readable and accessible to all users, including people with disabilities who are using assistive technologies to access the information.
