The DBI Deafblind International Conference was held between July 24-28, 2023 in Canada’s capital, Ottawa. There were networking, poster sessions and workshops on a variety topics, including web site accessibility and emergency preparedness, which were of particular interest to me. Technology, orientation and mobility, and communication among congenitally and adventitiously deafblind children and adults were also a topic of discussion between professionals within the field.
